Provisional date set for club grading is the 14th December
Dear student
Wouldnt it be an achievement to attain your next grade just before Christmas, what a present!!!
We have provisionally set the date above for the next club grade, this means you will need to train hard for the next few weeks to get ready. Over the next week or so we will be assessing your progress and will help you get ready.
Any questions please speak to any instructor

Training for 2nd Dan
Dear student/parents
As you will have probably noticed Dan and Marcus are training for their 2nd Dan. This is a hard slog as I know through experience. Please bear with us whilst they both train to the required high standard for their grading.
You are probably wondering how this grade works, well once you have trained to the required level through the syllabus we are assessed and graded by the President of the AMA, who incidentally holds an 8th Dan in Ju Jitsu (very lofty heights indeed!). The grading is approximatley 4 hours and requires both demonstrations and practical work including sparring and groundwork.
I look forward to supporting them on the day!!
You should not notice any difference to your training but if you have any queries please dont hesitiate to bring this up with any of the instructors
